Value and quality driving increasing number of buyers to Harmony Homes
Harmony Homes, a locally owned and operated builder formed in 2008, is enjoying its best sales year ever, attributing its success to an improving housing market and the value being built into its 14 local communities.
“The decreasing supply of used homes is certainly driving more buyers to our doorstep,” said Geoff Gorman, vice president of sales for Harmony Homes. “But our buyers tell us it’s ultimately the value and quality of our homes that really drive them to buy a new home from us.”
However, he added, “People should know that local home prices are starting to go up, so the time to buy is now.”
He said good examples of this value are the builder’s communities of Summit and Talus at Sunrise Highlands, which account for most of the new homes currently available on or near Sunrise Mountain on the east side of Las Vegas.
Gorman said Summit and Talus are designed for growing families, offering lots and homes that are larger than most new homes in the area. “Most of all,” he said, “they offer fantastic value, with home prices as low as $66 per square foot.”
Prices at Summit start in the $170,000s for homes ranging from 1,817 to 3,754 square feet. Summit features five floor plans, including both single-story and two-story designs, with three or four bedrooms and two or 2-½ baths. Two-story plans come with three-car garages and four or five bedrooms.
Prices at Talus start in the $150,000s, with single-story and two-story floor plans ranging from 1,801 to 3,024 square feet of living space.
To visit Summit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Boulder Highway and head north. Head east on Sahara Avenue past Hollywood Boulevard. Turn right on Dawning Day Drive and then right on Young Sky Avenue.
To visit Talus, take U.S. Highway 95 to Boulder Highway and head north. Travel east on Sahara Avenue and turn right on Hollywood Boulevard. Turn left on Sunrise Highlands Way and proceed to Sunrise Bluff Drive.
Harmony Homes has sold more than 1,000 homes since it was formed in Southern Nevada in late 2008. It offers 14 neighborhoods throughout the Las Vegas Valley, with one- and two-story homes priced from the $110,000s and ranging from 1,462 to 4,900 square feet.
